The amount stated in the text is LESS than the amount stated on the order summary when I placed the order online yesterday. The text says my account will be charged $192.36, but yesterday it was $210.xx...$179.99 (G1) + $18 (activation) + $12.xx (tax).
Has anyone else seen a discrepancy like this? |

I am not worried whatsoever...as a matter of fact, it pissed me off that T-Mobile is charging current customers $18 to activate a phone.

I think all service providers do that, the stupid "upgrade fee". If someone else buys that same phone, they get to charge the $35 "activation fee", so I guess, $18 is not that bad afterall.
And if I understand correctly, the order confirmation page showed the total cost associated with this new phone. while your text message mentioned cost of just the phone. The upgrade fee might show up as a separate charge on your bill. Just a guess. |

Up to 24 Hours. Mine came in at 23 Hours and 55 Mins.

I pre-ordered last night and just got mine right now, so it took about 14-15 hours. Mine also neglected to include the upgrade fee in the text.

Yes, I just got a text message with the same info and it's about $20 lower than it should be.

haha, ha ha Companies rarely make 'errors in your favor'. You can be assured they will be charging every fee they said they would on checkout on the web site. It was just an error in the text message, i'm sure. -Ben |
