The instructions need updating. It's been noted that cyanogens pimped 1.2 recovery image must be downgraded to JF's 1.43 recovery image otherwise the new SPL won't flash.

I installed new SPL with cayns pimps 1.2 weeks ago..

Interesting, because many are reporting it did work unless they reverted back to the old recovery image.

thx... when I booted with the recovery I noticed I'm using JFv1.42 and not 1.43 like in the link... Do I need to switch or can I just install the SPL with that? thanks!

iv just flashed the spl and now my phone is stuck on the G1 screen, I checked my radio before doing this and It was 22-19-261, in bootloader mode the new spl flash1.33.2005 is listed as well as my radio, also my recovery image is jf 1.43, I have no cyan roms running just jf adp 1.51 I was going to flash the cyan 3.6.5 rom after the spl have I done it in the wrong order and can it be fixed.

can you boot in to recovery?

if so do this
you need an sdcard reader download the same rom you were using name it update then take put your sd card in the reader copy the new update.zip file to your sd card and boot into recovery and flash the rom and you should be good to go.......

i think this is the thrid time in two days someone has had this problem.

this might be a daily problem . maybe you should put the instructions in your signature , that way you wont have to keep typing it out . just tell ppl to read your sig
