@divest: the apps price will regulate themselves yes... but the people making the apps may not realize they would sell enough more apps at a lower price that their profits would surpass the cost of selling cheaper in the first place because of far more numerous sales. A lot of developers I think either don't realize this or don't understand it well enough to put it to use and will hurt both themselves and the people who want the apps by charging too much for them....
