true. And I don't see Nokia paying Google for Android licensing when they can do an in-house linux for their own devices . . . not to mention that they just purchased Symbian and budgets are tight for all these guys.

Which is also why those who are holding their breath for a Q1-Q2 Motorola Android device are turning blue for no particular reason. Don't bet on it, sportsfans.

You are aware that it's not Nokia that have done this? It's a company that works with Embedded Linux Software Developing, called NthCode.
Oh, and BTW. You don't have to pay Google to use Android as an OS on a phone.

But confused.

Why would Nokia want . . . . oh, this is all about bragging rights. Or some complicated long-term business model I don't understand. Develop something for free to leverage something-or-other . . .
