Default Verizon Droid campaign pits Moto Android against "iDon't" iPhone

"Don't you wish you had" the promo asks "a robot sidekick that moved at light speed, could get you out of any problem and lived in your pocket?" That's what Verizon are offering with the Motorola Droid, and the carrier has kicked off a major pre-launch campaign setting the iPhone firmly in its sights.

This phone seriously has me thinking about jumping the T-Mo ship for Verizon. Is there any chance T-Mo will come out with a phone like this in the near future?

Of course something like this will come to Tmobile. That's just the barebones Android 2.0 you're seeing. That's not even any special UI put over Android.

It's pretty much everything I'm missing with the G1 + the best service available...what more can you ask for?

Definitely liked the commercial, but Verizon can't do this alone. The majority of people still don't really understand what Android is or what it is capable of.
