Bigfoot? From the one pic they show this thing is not that much better looking than the G1. not a fan of the Helio styling. Supposedly the HTC Memphis though....

I hope there will be a better looking and better spec Android phone similar to G1.

Because after using the G1 I don't think I want to go back to a phone w/o a physical QWERTY keyboard.

The Bigfoot that's showing on the picture is not really appealing.

What do they mean by End of Life? Like they'll stop making them?

Bigfoot looks ugly, IMHO.

So T-Mobile isn't gonna call the magic, the T-Mobile G2? but instead the T-Mobile mTouch 3G? Sounds ummm a little too much.

Does this mean when the G1 goes EOL users that are still in contract with a G1 will not see software updates?

Yes, I would bet on that. By September I doubt T-mobile will be sending any OTA's to G1 users. Thank god we have JF.

if this turns out to be true it looks like tmo has a good line up through the summer and fall...

tmo could be the official android service provider...

Following 3 things I believe would make the G1 v2 perfect:
- Faster processor
- More internal memory
- Better looking hardware. 1.5 software version looks awesome .

PLEASE PLEASE T-Mobile/HTC, keep the keyboard layout and size exactly the same for us G1 users.

Did no one notice the pattern? Houdini was a master ILLUSIONIST and Bigfoot has never been proven, so it is nothing more than an ILLUSION itself. Sounds to me like misdirection, and a badly guised ploy at that.

I'd be all for this as the G1 v.2 to be honest

So I'm hoping thats it and thats just a poor image of it...

I doubt it though...
