The software doesn't require it. That's what I was stating, and it's true. That being said, define "a while." Let me know if you find that source, I'd like to read it.

    Phone looks mad ugly.

Squished keys? I like mine spaced out.

    A few other factors too.

I'm waiting till a phone blows the g1 out of the water before I replace it (and I doubt a smaller screen/keyboard is going to do that (Would like to see AMOLED in person though...)).
I agree with this. My big thing is a faster processor or at least significantly more memory to install and run apps guilt-free with.

    Hm. Physical keyboard...

And I REALLY hope Sammy makes a Bigfoot dressed in all-black.

I like the color scheme, because it looks fresh and new for the Summer...

Why does every phone need to come in BLACK/SILVER

Maybe it's another attempt to pull more of the sidekick fanboys/girls over to Android

Hulkish references aside, I really dig the green! Even if it does come out in a slew of colors, and I'd bet it does -- that's probably the one I would opt for if I was to purchase. Rather or not I'm interested in doing that remains to be seen, but at least this phone meets my requirement for a physical keyboard.

On the topic of color, at this point, color me interested.

STEREO SPEAKERS??? Wow that would be awesome. Has any other phone done that? Why on earth did it take this long for such a great idea?

As for color? Never been a fan of colorfull phone. When it comes to phones I prefer the industrial look, black, silver, chrome and the like. But every thing else on it seems great.
