im sure they will eventually like they have for every other phone. its doubtful that they will at release tho, otherwise why would they have said anything about it before the preorder?

the point of being able to get any t-mobiles plans without a contract? isn't that kind of a.... weird question? kinda answers itself...

some people don't like contracts and don't want a 200 dollar cancellation fee, thus not getting a phone discount... some people feel comfortable in knowing that they can cancel whenever they want

It would be cool if G1 was on a month to month plan
But I think for the interest of the company that will not happen

correct me if im wrong but that was about the g1.. i mean this is the android website.. ad g1 is the only phone with it.. so by association i assume all phones they talk about are the g1 or another android powered devise. i think its smart 2 make this a month 2 month plan avalible. i know alot of people that are going to buy the phone now

I don't mind being on a contract, I like T-Mobile. I know so many people with horror stories about their current or past provider. I don't have any issues. Yes, they've had some lame phones for awhile, but that's not worth switching and potentially having huge issues. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.

If they are doing a month to month plan, I hope they either drop the prices for those of us on contracts, or charge more for month-to-month. A one-time discount on a phone ain't enough to keep people signing contracts.

The thing is the G1 phone doesn't work with Flexpay Plans, that why there creating these post paid accounts specifically for the G1. The month to month term is not available as a post paid account to any phone except the G1 now.
