Default T-Mobile myTouch 3G gets official

As expected, T-Mobile USA have announced the myTouch 3G, their second Android handset and the follow-up to the T-Mobile G1. Recognizable as the HTC Magic - which Android Community reviewed in back in May - the phone has a 3.2-inch HVGA resolution capacitive touchscreen, 3.2-meg... Read more

So.... I'm assuming that if I am not eligible for an upgrade, then it will carry 499.00 ticket price.

    T-Mobile is singular:

    T-Mobile has announced - or - T-Mobile is doing

Meh. Not enough of a jump (same screen size, camera, etc) for an upgrade from G1. Next, please.

I think it's a British thing. For instance:

    http://blog.last.fm/2009/02/23/techc...e-full-of-****

Last.fm, which is hosted in the UK, refers to a single news entity like Techcrunch in the plural sense and uses the verb "are."

    I find it highly annoying.

P.S. I see the AC forums hide part of the URL, but I think you can deduce what four letter word should be there. Starts with an "s."

re: 2 year contract obligation. Last time I "upgraded" they just rolled it into the current time I had an obligation to, but I've been with the T-Mob since '99, so they are not worried I'll jump ship i guess.

Wish they had a Nokia offering in Android. I'm still keeping the old black brick as backup and campers special. nothing since is as bulletproof or weatherproof. Gotta love that 2-3 day battery life, weekplus on non-use standby.

Oh, no keyboard. I might have to get used to that. Does anyone know that by learning morse code you can do 125-160 wpm onehanded?
