a lot of people don't want the bulk of a keyboard. others just like a pretty phone and don't care about functionality (can you say iphone?).... i used to be in the first category but after actually having a keyboard for the first time on the G1 i don't think i could ever go back to not having 1.

I like having a keyboard on my G1. A touchscreen only device isn't very appealing to me.
