I spoke with someone who works for google today. He told me he believes this is all a roomer. He thinks this because they just gave all google employees G1's for Christmas and he said Google would not give them a G1 if they knew the next model was just around the corner.

I dont know. This is what he just told me. Maybe because he doesnt work on the android team. He actually had an Iphone and they all received unlocked g1's. He was trying to decide if he wanted to go with the g1 or stay with the Iphone.
