AC would you please remove this story from the website or at least admit that it is totally unproven and frabricated. I mean I once trusted you guys to at least research your stories before you released them. Ive been an ACer since Sept. 08 and I have always respected and admired your level of journalism and well researched articles. I understand that this is a blog site, but I really want you guys to redeem some of your credibility(I mean being a current g1 owner since 10/21/08 I have relied on you guys for most of my info). I called up T-mobile cutomer service and asked them for info on the G1. During the conversation, the lady said that they were coming out with a G2 in April and that maybe I should wait for that one to come out since my contract is up in March and I can get the discount. Remind you, she brang up the fact that a G2 will be coming out in APRIL. I didn't say anything to her about any new G phone coming out. Why would customer service tell me such things if it was not true? I believe it and will wait for the G2.

Because she probably reads stupid rumors on the internet. The FCC has no knowledge of such a phone (and it would need approval from them before release).
