It should be noted that the info you quoted as being from tmonews.com actually originated at the new T-Mobile forums for the G1 -- pretty much the new ground-zero for info related to this device. I've never seen a forum so active. If you ask a question there, you kinda hope it gets spotted and answered quick or it will scroll into oblivion. They did however just split it up into 3 sections, which has helped considerably.

I didn't mean to sound like I was 'busting' anyone, just thought you might like to know about the TMo forums. The tmonews post you referenced actually has a link to the TMo forums where they got their info, you just missed it.
