oh wait, everyone that did a preorder also has to wait until the phone actually ships. I'll continue waiting until I can upgrade to one for $179, not this $299 shenanigans.

Hey Vincent, do your contacts know how many there were available? So far, I don't think there's a confirmed number. --Just rumors, confused further by the white paint chipping issue. Do you think you could find out how many, once all the black and browns are sold out, had been sold?

Also are these preorders shipping with the headset dongle thingy so people can use 3.5mm headphones? I've read elsewhere that some early batches didn't include it which is going to suck hardcore for all the early adopters.

The user manual shows the contents of the box and all it shows is a USB headset. But who knows it can happen.

If it didnt, Im sure you could call up there and they would send you one. Especially if its a known problem.

I really wouldn't worry too much. It definitely sounds like demand is higher than the anticipated, but they are advertising the phone and should have at least some available for you to get launch date if you are unable to preorder.

Not to brag, but mine is preordered
