Default T-Mobile G1 may not be able to get update

In the immortal words of Scooby Doo -- rot-row. Apparently, users of the T-Mobile G1 may run into a big problem updating their device. PC World reports that the G1 may be unable to get significant updates in the future because its internal flash storage is nearly full already.

If they would off app storage to the SD there'd probably be no issue, I mean it ships with a free SD, even @ 1GB thats a ton of apps, heck it'd eliminate the "Low Storage" warning

This is the 3rd thread on this subject, 2nd today.


Great news G1 owners! I just received the following official statement from T-Mobile corporate:
We plan to continue working with Google to introduce future software updates to the T-Mobile G1. Reports to the contrary are inaccurate.

There you have it. Please continue to enjoy your T-Mobile G1

Right, we already have alot of donuts and glaze. You heard anything from simms today, posted about 3am, haven't heard from hin since.
