I have never seen a Storm ever in my life aside from the internet however I seen a ton of G1's, Different Blackberry's(not Storm), and a few Iphone's. I am almost convinced that those numbers are fabricated!!!

Everyone has a friend who has a storm that just doesn't seem right. I tried three different times to use a storm and couldn't I got too frustrated.

I think the only reason the storm is ahead of the G1 is because of their advertising. The G1 barely has any, even though they're a sponsor of the NBA, they don't advertise G1, but rather T-Mobile myfaves. I'm sure there are people who dont even know what a G1 is, but they sure know what a storm/iphone are.

Thats not a very fair chart as 3 of the top five are from one manufacturer.

the storm is on top because of huge companies, for ex. state farm agents, they have over 80,000 agents and each of them get new blackberries, which would be the storm and if each of the 80,000 agents have 3 staff members working for them they get a blackberry also, thats 240,000 blackberry storms, and im giving you the min. on numbers, i work for sf it department and we problably make up about 15% of blackberry total sells, i wish we would sell g1s

Not too surprising, out of all the phones the G1 was probably the least advertised. Besides a few ads a little after it launched there's basically no ads for the G1. The Storm had multiple ads after it launched. The iPhone has as much ads if not more than the Storm. So basically there are a lot more people who don't even know about the G1.

Considering this, the G1 made a pretty good showing.

Next we have the Magic or Mytouch and it'll probably be even more popular since it'll probably be cheaper in price (and it's sleeker which general consumers seem to care more about).
