i didnt know the G1 was behind the storm... interesting since i have seen more g1's than i have bb storms...

maybe ppl with storms just leave them at home..

I'm curious about the actual numbers, just how far behind the storm is it? Its the only phone on the list that hasn't been out for a couple of years before the G1.

Yea that is suprising. Only 1 friend that I know of has a BB. I wonder if this includes business sales?

In my circle of friends g1's outnumber iphones. I have about 6 friends that have iphones, and about 13 of us have g1's. One time we looked around the table and there was nothing but g1's sitting out. I should have piled them up and taken a picture.

These bad boys sell themselves. I was the first one to get the g1 in my circle, and after playing with it everyone else went out and bought one.

I heart G1.

^^^maybe not as many as you think... i dont really care about how a phone looks... i bought it for android...

more ppl buying the phone for the looks creates a simple minded community who complain all the time about their shiny "toy."

personally i think the looks of the g1 draws a more inteligent demographic because any genius knows its not whats on the outside that counts... its whats on the inside.

thats what seperates the inteligent well respected AC community from the mindless iphone cult.

I too find it odd that the Storm is ahead of the G1. I've only seen one Storm and a few G1's around my area. My guess is (like eRoc said), it would be the business market that is creating the difference in numbers. If only those business idiots knew what was good for them.

Verizon has a much bigger network. The storm was an apparent flop, but it had a bigger consumer market. That is most likely why it sold more.
