Default Re: T-Mobile G1, a true always on connection

Well I live in Hong Kong and I have an internet plan with my phone company but right now I turned off all my data because they already told me that I have $40+ HKD extra charge for 3G downloading...(it could be the inital setup with gmail account but not sure got the phone Nov 24th) but I do notice that the 3G icon on the phone do have some signal of downloading and uploading when I leave it on and alone. So I waiting to see what happen when my bill come probably next week. Because I am still trying to figure out the apn configuration on the damn phone for my carrier and see if they support the browser or not
