Sony Ericsson may launch Android phone next week

The rumor mill is running overtime today. A rumor has popped up that has Sony Ericsson launching a new Android device next week on November 3. The teaser site simply reads, "We're looking forward to November 3rd. We think you should be too."



The rumor that the device on the 3rd will be the Xperia 10 or X3 and is expected to be running a new interface called Rachel. The interface is expected to be along the lines of HTC Sense UI.

If the device turns out to be an Android phone, it could be running Android 2.0. Verizon will announced the Droid tomorrow reports Fierce Wireless and it will run Android 2.0 presumably, paving the way for other Android 2.0 handsets to hit market.

if the rumored specs match the actual specs...I think I found my new woman. While this chinny lady has treated me well, it'll be time for an upgrade...of sorts.
