Couldn't hurt, but I try to avoid malware software on my PC
 I just try to be careful so it's not needed, and haven't had any issues in the last 4-5 years I've been computing unprotected.I really like that Android notifies you of which parts of the OS will be accessed by each program, although I guess it might be possible for a security flaw to bypass this.
