At one point my bro-in-law had linked me an HTC mini USB-Audio jack to iPod dock adapter off of ebay.
Anybody trying this, remember you can;t use a regular "mini usb" adapter - The HTC headphone style Mini USB plugs are very different and that is what lets them transmit the audio data. I have noticed a significant difference in sound quality between my Dash headset and G1 headset so you may also want to stay away fro the dash connector. It is probably an issue with the actual speaker/driver - but who knows, the connection hardware may also be inferior. Last edited by happyandyv; 12-29-2008 at 03:31 PM.
