G1 fan. ( And to think i got it as a BACKUP! for my 2G iphone! ) wth was i thinking.
No real VOIP calling unfortunately.
Although for making cheap calls to international Skype users, or simply just using the Chat feature, that makes this app worth it to me.
Yeah it definitely needs some work. I live in the Dominican Republic, so i have the Unlimited Country Plan, and when i tried to make a Skype test call, it started to dial a United States number, so that did not work. So yeah i hope Skype, hooks it up so that i can use it through Wifi, the same way i use it with my laptop, with first dialing a local, which is not local to me, or others who travel abroad.
So does this use data or minutes?
it doesnt feel worth downloading
Another half arsed attempt of an application for android![]()
First Skype Lite and Now Truphone Anywhere. Both are VOIP companies, but neither company's Android application delivers VOIP! Is VOIP somehow not possible on Android? I would be happy if I could only get VOIP over WiFi...if Tmobile must disable it, just disable it on 3G!
can't find it in market doing search on 'skype' or 'lite'... anyone??
thanks!![]()
Heck, I'd be happy even if I could use my T-Mobile minutes with some sort of VoiP program!
Get real bad service where I'm at -- hasn't been an issue with my other phones because they have UMA and can make calls over wifi.
