I'm wondering how they pay for all of this. The servers required to quickly take an uploaded sample of a song, compare the waveforms against 8 million songs with enough accuracy to guess the song and return it back to the user in a few seconds is a monumental task. Their server farm must be massive. They have to be getting money from iTunes and AmazonMP3 for every track purchased when it comes as a referral from them.
