“We are accelerating the development process for Google phone in order to meet the specific need of local carriers."

Hopefully this doesn't mean they will be rushing to get the phone done!

Verizon is trying to figure out how to lock down the phone and disable certain features while still allowing users to get updates from Google.

anyone notice that everytime they show the Android on any other carrier it still has Tmobiles favs on the image.

i just read this article early this morning on mippin.... this is good news for android, but an all touch screen device with such a small screen is not gonna have good results. i had the chance to use the instinct today and surfin the web on it really sucks because the screen is so cramped with menu options on the screen while browsing,but i know theres some people that like it. G1 will still be the boss.

Despite some hardware concerns on the current G1, I love the phone and OS....keep bringing out more phones I say!
