if they cant landscape the keyboard like that article says...they r going to have an even harder time selling that phone. iphone is finally getting an update to support that and all g1 users now r used to the actual hardware. doesnt make sense because cupcake has a portrait/landscape keyboard

Current screenshots of 1.5 show that as being an incorrect statement. It would never make sense to have a smaller keyboard in portrait mode, instead of having one in landscape.

When the HTC Magic was shown to us, we were told there is NO QWERTY keyboard in landscape mode. That may or will change with the final version of 1.5x. We'll find out at Google I/O at the end of May.

Thanks to the great job Susan (AC's fearless leader) and the rest of the leads/mods - I don't have to be around much...then again, AC is our baby from the ground up, so yeah I still come around (you just don't see me). Keeping a few other plates spinning...my Pre community is coming along really well and we're expecting similar success as AC.
