a. looks like a iPhone pic. Blurry & low res are famous on iphones. If it was a G1, it would be completely out of focus or crystal clear due to the slow autofocus mechanism.

b. yes the final will have a thinner bezel, BUT having a raised bezel helps. I noticed my Freerunner has one that really a perfect thickness to avoid glass scratches. And we end up buying stupid protectors for our G1s, iphones, storms , etc... that create a raise bezel, larger foot print--where as this phone will like not need a protector! That's a good thing...
