Meebo instant messaging hands on

I really like this app.. Works very well for me... Tho I only been useing it for like 15 mins

from what I can gather, it doesn't even let you put yourself as "away" nor does it let you modify status messages or close out conversations...it's also missing the ability to save the account username/password...and it's also missing the ability to notify the user if the connection is lost...this app sure kicks the crap out of the native messaging apps on the G1 but its still missing a few things. I'm sure that these issues will be fixed or another app will be written in its stead...

It is way better then the stock client. The fact that I can use it within the university (cell signal is spotty at best) makes this application amazing. However, there are definitely issues.

*Web addresses don't get sent as links.
*You can't copy text from the conversation window
*No, notification when connection is lost
*Auto login?
*Seriously, you can't change the audio?


I love the fact that it shows buddy icons on the list.

i like meebo. i use it all the time at school since aim is blocked.

i like this meebo a lot more than the IM app, however it's missing a lot. i hope they come out with an update soon.

also, i've been having problems with the sign on hanging for really long, force quits, etc. that def needs to get worked out.

It has potential but because it automatically signs me out after being idle for a short time, I uninstalled it.

In my opinion, this is just as bad as the IM app it came with. It logs you out when you use another app. That makes Meebo useless to me.
