we still need a better aim app. than that thought, come'on.. to be this phone.. the aim on the past sidekick lx puts the g1's aim to shame.. an aim app just like the aim that runs on the sidekicks would be perfect. someone make this app please.. loll

true, but we have to remember it isn't a sidekick. And this device was not created by danger. It's a g1 by google and applications by the people. things will get better it is just the beginning be paitent my friend.

Last I checked the G1 isn't a sidekick, never claimed to be and from what I see it's not trying to be. If you want to whine that the improvements being made aren't good enough for you, then go back to your sidekick until you feel the two devices are up to par. We don't need pointless posts saying "well its still not as good as...".

yeah it works fine. away/avail msgs and icon and it will be just as good as the sidekick messangers

ok, i've never used meebo before. can someone enlighten me as to the fascination with this app? i just installed it and could not understand the facination. no smilies,can't save login info,can't end chats etc.. all of which the built in im can do. i use the built in im and am pretty satisfied with it. i just don't get it. unless, on other platforms it had way more features? enlighten me.

Just installed it. It's nice. Just wish there was a way to close recent conversations.

Nice, thank you just downloaded it,,,,, looks promising. but they need to fix the notification bar thing, it won't go away!
