Looks like I'm not alone in this. I'm no big fan of the resistive touchscreen, and it looks like screen real estate just got halved. This pretty much gives me the form factor of the BB, the screen size of a BB, without the benefit of corporate push email, and what I suspect will be a much poorer web browsing experience compared to the G1's.
If someone out there wants to improve on the G1, build a device that has a larger screen size, better video resolution, improved graphics processor, a larger slide-out keyboard with better key pitch and depth, and battery life that would last 2 days with WiFi always-on and GPS running 25% of the time. I'd happily pay USD600 for a device like that
