huh? somebody has to see the new version before they can comment on the old version?
regardless, i've never used winmo so i don't know how well it does or doesn't work. my allegiance to a mobile operating system, as some of you may have noticed, lays with a certain little green guy.
i have used my friends touch pro and its not that bad but stylus are so 2000 (lol i know it has nothing to do with the OS)

THE FASTEST AND EASIEST WAY TO ROOT
Windows Mobile isn't dead because of Android. Windows Mobile is dead because it deserves to die. The fact we have Android is a happy coincidence.
Before I be very active in Windows Mobile doing Beta testing an also as a power user I think Before WM 2003SE I also have many WinMo devices almost all the OS 2002,2003,2003SE,5.0,6.0,6.1 & 6.5 and in My humble opinion I think is Microsoft itself left Windows Mobile to Die to Create or deliver a new born baby a new OS Clean from all the Bugs, situations and bad reputation they make during almost a decade something new even not campatible with anything related to winMo 6.5 or before even any device existing device can upgrade to this new OS and now Microsoft create the new and totally different Windows Phone 7 check the screen shots and the video is Brandon Minniman from Pocketnow.com interviewing Chris Pirillo microsoft MVP.

So, before I say anything bad about Winmo (or Symbian) does the Nexus finally have a completely usable Bluetooth file transfer and receive system with security? Does it finally have a BUILT IN pop3/imap email app that works and will allow you to download ANY attachment -- no matter what? Does it come with a BUILT IN Office app and PDF reader? Does it have a BUILT IN photo editing program? Does it have a centralized app-launching app so you don't have to screw around with a ton of POS shortcuts? Stereo FM radio? I don't know about Winmo (though my wife has it on her HTC and loves it), but my last Symbian phone had all this and was 100% functional out of the box. Only app I bought (or added at all) was a foreign language dictionary. If the Nexus does/has all this out of the box, it might be my next phone. Does it? Without app shopping?
well no app is going to give you FM receiving on the n1. the only thing that you listed above that I use is a photo editor, what functions are you looking for?
and why is being able to choose from multiple apps a bad thing? I mean besides the stock options for photo editing You can choose One that does what you need?
necros are fun >.>
