It's the photoshoot we've been waiting for: the HTC Magic and the Samsung I7500 getting up close and personal.Â* The two most-anticipate... Read more
Liking the I7500.... but will wait for "Bigfoot" or whatever the next sliding keyboard will be...
Don't know why I thought the Samsung was bigger than the Magic, they're just about identical in dimensions. Has an official date been set for the 7500?

The I7500 looks great, I just hope it is released within the next month. The 8gb of memory to store apps on is surely one of the biggest advantages it has over the Magic.
i7500 FTW!!!!

I am leaning towards the I7500 now. But, I would happily accept either.

wait did someone say HEADPHONE JACK?!?!
Device: T-Mobile G1
Build/Rom: twisteds SHADOW HERO v4.2 (no loading screens, fast as hell, soo smoooth)
Recovery: Cyan 1.4
ive tried every linux swap from 32mb to 96mb. 40mb is the fastest and wont slow down on u over time. TRY IT!
The 17500 looks like a Samsung phone. The Magic looks more classy. I'd take the Magic over all the !7500's features.
There seems to be quite a bit of upside to the Sammy hardware wise. The AMOLED screen should suck less power, while managing to look better at the same time. The 3.5mm headphone jack and MUCH better camera (if it's the same as my wife's Behold, that's a killer camera for a phone), are great improvements as well. The biggest thing for me, however, is the promised 8gb of onboard storage. This enables Android users to have more, larger, applications without troubles.
That being said, I for one am like the look of the Magic more. There's a uniqueness that can't be overlooked.
I will personally reserve judgment until I see the final software for each phone. Both Samsung and HTC have an excellent track record of creating their own UI and adding improvements to other OS's (the Samsung Omnia and the HTC Touch Pro both do WinMo very differently and much better than the stock OS).
These are truly exciting times![]()
