Default HTC Lancaster Android phone for AT&T

AT&T is getting an Android-powered phone after all. Behold the HTC Lancaster with a striking resemblance to the HTC Magic when closed and looks a lot more like the Touch Pro in form factor for a QWERTY slider than the T-Mobile G1.

Finally a phone I could use in Canda with the correct 3G frequencies. The only possible drawback is the screen resolution as 240x320 is a major step down from my G1 which is 480x320.

I was thinking about purchasing a Magic from Rogers, however the off contract price is $CDN649.99, which is a bit too steep for me.

Ugliest HTC phone. Screen too small. The G1 looks way better.

Looks like a poor relation to the G1 (in terms of screen size and resolution).

And a social messaging interface... sounds like a "noddy" phone, rather than a PDA-type smartphone device that does everything.
