I know, sorry about that. Somewhere in-between the raw footage and the processed version a 20-30 second chunk of sound dropped out into the ether. I'm going to re-process and re-upload, but for now it went something like:

"The special thing about the browser is that you can access Flash video, which is a first for an Android device"

Nothing new, I know, but I was babbling

Default Available unlocked in the U.S.?

So did he say at the end of the video that no U.S. carriers have confirmed they'll be carrying the Hero yet, but he can imagine HTC will be selling an unlocked version also?

I hope they sell an unlocked version that works with T-Mobile 3G bands.

I did say that, but I don't have any inside knowledge on a US-spec 3G version I'm afraid. My gut feeling is that HTC will make one for the US market, just because the Hero is lining up to be their flagship Android device, but nothing is decided as far as I'm aware.

Hey Chris, if you don't mind, can you give us a demo of the phone with a flash site? a website that takes full advantage of the Flash. Thanks

i'd like to see widescreen keyboard and how well it works in writing emails, sms , twitter or facebook messages.
i usually dont like onscreen keyboards but if it works good in widescreen i might get a hero.

i still dont get why they put a trackball on those kind of handsets... what do i need it for?
