Default Hop-on actually announcing gambling software for Android at CES 2009

We have heard that Hop-on will be announcing a new Android-powered handset at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Well that may not be entirely true, it appears that they will however be announcing its new Casino Wagering Software.

Yes! I want to play some high stakes poker from my G1! Could you imagine the rage if you totally had some sucker betting into you and then your phone drops the connection and he wins because you couldn't call or raise?

Interesting idea, I've been wondering when they'd bring poker/gambling to cell phones. As for losing your connection, that's when I hope they have all-in protection in the software. Most desktop poker apps give you a certain number of all-in protections where it basically treats you as being all-in if you lose your connection. You can't call or raise, but you do not automatically fold either. That'll be a must for any kind of cell phone poker IMO

Guys; it's screen shots of CCTV in a casino... How is that a game???

These guys have never shown anything working and all these blogs and news guys still write about them. Hop On are a bunch of scammers looking for venture funding by proposing all their silly programs. Has anyone EVER SEEN any of their phones or any of their apps?

I have a few times. So far the quality has been lacking but I do report Android information for all who are interested whether it be of quality handsets or the smallest developers efforts.

I have not recommended them, just shown that they are there.

Has anyone thought of checking the exhibitor directory for CES 2009 in Vegas to check if HOP-ON is even going to actually be there?
I did...
HOP-ON IS NOT A REGISTERED EXHIBITOR AT THE CES 2009 IN LAS VEGAS!

Is Mr. Michaels just going to be in Vegas at the time of the CES walking around saying; "Hey, check this out!"

hmmmm; since the casino ownership can't even support on-line, have to wonder...

and since nothing launched @ CES, what's it really all about?

Trust me, since the casino owners can't profit from the i-net other than booking rooms and shows, no one else will make money on LV...

The only people looking to make money are the pump and dumpers buying/selling hop on equity.
