This is big for android. this is really nice for us users and developers
i can just imagine how much those are gonna cost. what kind of monitoring service does this site guarantee?
~ ~ awesome!
yay i hope they brg in all those apps!
I agree. This IS great news for Android.
However, I can almost surely say, I won't be buying an App through these guys.
Not cause I can't afford it, but just because I know that for every program that requires a fee, there'll be a free open-source alternative on the Android Market.
Both my Windows XP AND Ubuntu Linux are filled with free software. I have never paid for software in my life. (Besides gaming ofcourse).
There are ALWAYS alternative software available for free.
Thanks Handango for supporting Android, but no thanks Handango.
I used Handango back in my palm days. I look forward to purchasing apps for my G1. I primarily would use apps for business reasons. There is nothing wrong with those who prefer a 'free' model, I just prefer doing business with professionals who have an incentive to improve their product and service their customers.
well lemme tell ya.....i bought the program paycheck time checker on the handango website yesterday and have yet to figure out how to get it on my phone.....really aggravates me

As a Windows Mobile software developer, I'm not a big supporter of Handango.com as they charge a very high commission percentage for software sales. They charge me 50% for commission, while the Android Market is planning to charge 30%. Also, Handango doesn't do much in advertising for independent developer software (in my opinion).
I always recommend buying apps from the developer's main web site (if available) to better support developers in creating new and quality applications.
