First Twitter application Twidroid lands in Android Market

I will hope for a Twitterrific app to come to Android. It is what I use on my Macs and would love it on Android. However, Hahlo.com is still an awesome twitter web app (works with any mobile) that is still nice. I will be using hahlo.com until maybe a twitterrific app is released.

It only alerts for @'s and DMs, not for every tweet.

I heard that the BeTwittered developers are looking into an Android app. Betwittered is a nice client for iGoogle.

i'm a casual twitter user and would be fine with having it check every hour or even just a few times a day

this might be the first twitter client on the google market, but i was using Twitli prior to Twidriod coming to market. Maybe not as aesthetically pleasing, but I found it to be sufficient.

I like the program, but I just wish it were smaller. 5MB is a good-sized chunk of the built-in memory.

I reinstalled based on what seemed like success of people here, and found the updated version does tell me about new tweets, and the robot to tell me when it's starting a service is gone. So I'll keep this one around for a while...

does the camera work for anyone?

when i hit the camera icon, the viewfinder comes up in a funky perspective, and then i have 3 buttons on the screen,.. back arrow to cancel, a circle which just seems to put twidroid.com into the twitter box, and a folder that crashes the app. if i push the shutter button, it leaves twidroid and opens the camera app

Can anyone tell me how to delete a post? It's not showing in the updated version of twidroid. Also does anyone know how to remove a picture from phodroid? Thanks
