i wish tapulous would make twinkle for the g1. that was a great time killer on the iphone plus it did help out when locals can help answer your questions.

I have that problem but if I tell it to wait instead of close it will update like 20 seconds latter kind of odd.

The latest version 1.0.4 is great.. I don't have any issues anymore.. If you are.. I would have people download the latest version in the market

I was wondering how I started getting device updates from @twitroid. I'm not sure I like that feature. I guess I can always remove them, but automatically adding me is something I didn't appreciate.

i realize it may seem dumb, but one of the big reasons i didn't buy the G1 was due to lack of a twitter app. if twinkle were made available on the android market, i wouldn't hesitate to buy the G1...even with the lack of 3G in my area.

Folks having the force quit bit, are you using the SSL connection? I am before that I wasn't getting the error.

It doesn't seem to work for me. I set it for, check every 15 min, and yet it never alerts me to new twitters. It also puts a status alert up for when it runs a background service, which is pointless, I really don't care if it runs a service in the background as long as it works (which it doesn't seem to)
