Too bad CES closed eh, or can you walk over take a look at this one? It looks like it should cost about $50 and fit in a coin pocket. The keys look like the Treo 180. Somebody bulk order 100 of them

It may be a bit ugly but am I the only one that paid attention to the specs? If their website is accurate, this phone will have a capacitive mouse, ethernet, JTAG, RS-232, 3.5" VGA (640x480) touchscreen, 2 usb ports, SDIO socket (SD slot I believe?), 2 512MB flash drives, GPS (internal and external antennas), 3.5mm headset jack and a 3000mAH battery. Also, they say it has an extension board inside which means you could add 3rd party components to the phone, assuming companies build components that will fit.

The thing may be ugly, but if they manage to fit all this into a "phone" that is only 0.6" thick, I'll be impressed. This isn't designed to be an everyday consumer phone. Given all the ports and possible extensions, it seems like it is designed mainly for tech-related users who want something that can easily interface with various devices (tech support jobs, for example). It can be customized in bulk orders too, which brings up a lot of possiblities.

It may not be for everyone, but if they manage to actually bring this to market I'll be quite impressed.

First off, I LOOOOVVVE the specs. However, this thing is HUGE! ...4.9” x 3.7” x 0.6” ... a little smaller than 2 cd cases stacked? Definitely not something to slide into the 'ol pocket with any ease, though a handy tool, indeed!

OK, besides the fact that it will look funny holding a laptop up to your head every time you make call, this is AWESOME for any IT tech.
