I initially liked the black one, but now I am liking the white one more. It looks nice with the silver back. I don't see the white one on T-Mobile's store yet, though. Just black and brown.

I hate to tell you, but those pictures of the brown display the color inaccurately. It's totally washed out by the flash, and you can see that the black also looks very grey-ish. Gizmodo's hands-on review shows it to be much more of a dark chocolatey brown. The keyboard is also a grey/silver color.

Hi - sorry to alter the subject slightly here but does anyone know what the price of the G1 is in the UK and if there is a different RRP for colour options?

Yeah, that brown looks completely gray compared to all the other brown photos I'm been seeing around. I also don't know why this article claimed the brown color to be so rare when most of the videos I've seen online is using it.

To confirm that the brown is closer to the darker ones seen in videos, the reporter for CNET characterized the brown color to being close to bronze.

I want the black... with white or brown I think if you drop it. it's gonna show scratches more... just my opinion tho

Not necessarily. Scratches are visible with any color. It all depends what color ther interior plastic is. White might actually be the best at concealing scratches.

I was thinking about getting the brown one but when I got to the TMO store they said they only had the black available. So I just went with the black one.
