Would be helpful if there were a software keyboard I think since the Freerunner has no hardware one...

Freerunner with wifi enabled for ota apps? good luck, the battery will last just long enough to send an email.

Yes the openmoko freerunner does lack a physical keyboard but the screen is nice and sharp.
