The storm also has multi-touch.
From what I read. Apples application for patent has not been approved and must have been rejected because a letter of protest has been filed.
So what are all these patents apple has then? If they are able to have it, we should too.
Is it just me, or is the point of the video saying that actually for scaling/zooming multi-touch will work, just as the I-phone?
In that, the 'cross-over' issue doesn't matter when using the zoom functions?
Given the built-in compass, rotation (on maps) shouldn't be an issue, as simply holding the G1 flat and in the direction you facing should allow the map to automatically rotate using the compass... can't wait!
This is the most exciting announcement since the announcement of cupcake.
Good job Luke!
I hope to see this integrated very soon...looks exciting.
I have been told that the G1 doesnt have multi touch because apple asked them not to.
Apple Multi-touch patent won't stand up in court, cause if they fight they might have there patent invalidated.
