You can't blame the Adminstators of AC for administrating what they do for this site; e.x. post news about Android cause clearly if anyone else was more qualified they'd have the position or they're own site so let it go it does not matter.
Is Donut 2.0?
Idk I believe it, we've been saying this is the next major update since cupcake so it only makes sense. If we were on 1.5 and got that security update we're obviously getting closer to 2.0 and this Donut is a large update.
And besides since we've herd rumors that this will be 2.0
Either way I'm just going to get sick of hearing people say for fimrware xx.x [Donut] everwhwere :|

no i think youre failing to see the point when you type www.androidcommunity.com into your browser and press enter and you see all those news articles......they are for one imo "official threads" and two without the thread you cant have the news on the top page
some article about donut you post doesnt do anything for the site

I look dumb?
this thread..links to a news page with the SAME INFO
as this thread you started BEFORE this one
http://androidcommunity.com/forums/f...updated-21781/
you're staff...you close multiple threads over the same topic. I see it happen.
you are still missing the point but whatever man, leave your own thread open as well as this one.
and for the record, I never started a thread that got closed, because I don't make multiple thread posts

Yes, unfortunately so. As I have explained before, however, this subforum - Talkback - is basically the comments system for the Android Community frontpage. When we post an article to that frontpage, a forum thread is automagically created in Talkback; I don't have a choice as to whether it creates a new thread or links to an existing one.
The only choice I have is to create a Talkback thread or not; if I do the latter, then the frontpage article has no comments provision. Then new visitors to the site - who generally come in via frontpage articles linked either from Google or other Android blogs - won't find their way into the forum. I could say "Go here to comment" and link to the existing thread, but past experience tells me that people simply won't take that extra step.

The only thing I care about is playing my music in my car via Bluetooth. Is this new update going to enable that capability???

no because its possible already.
...How is this possible? I doesn't work in my BRAND NEW 2010 Mazda3. Making calls works but playing music does not. Any ideas?
I'm assuming your car has a Bluetooth hands-free speakerphone built into its stereo? For you to stream music from the phone, the stereo will need to support the A2DP profile, which is the stereo audio system - it's different from the usual hands-free or headset profiles.
Your owner manual for the radio/car should tell you if that's supported; otherwise the dealership should know.
