Actually, I'm kinda glad that it's not coming to the US. Touch HD, as it stands right now is strictly WinMo, even though it has exactly the same processor as the G1 and more memory, both RAM and ROM. Although, if it's true, a "Touch HD-like" G2 would be a killer, and I'm sure T-Mobile won't bring that to the US at least before 6 to 9 months of G1 launch. So, to summarize, when it's time to upgrade my G1, I'll have an awesome phone with 4" display running a great build of Android 1.6 with fantastic apps.
One can only dream...

Im glad it's not coming to the US!!! G1, man, G1 better not turn into a Sidekick... Literally in the last year from TODAY, there was the Sidekick3, then SidekickID, then SidekickLX(Brown, blue,), then the SidekickLX-TonyHawk Edition, and then the T-Mobile Sidekick (aka Sidekick2008).
