"The Android 1.5 system update is a 44MB file"

so it means that if i only have 41mb in my phone available (which i do) then i wont have enough to DL it?

The explanation is complicated but the answer to your question is...you will be able to download the update. The space available is not the space used for the update..

No, that's the size of the file that will be on the sd card; it won't be that much on your phone once it's unpacked and installed. Better not be.

Cannot wait until I can just perform this update via the update.zip on my SD card unless I get the OTA update first.

Yay for cupcake!!

As I said in another post,I just got off the phone with t-mobiles PDA/Smartphone/Android support and he did say that the 1.5 update has been released today He said it's just a matter of time when google pushes it to our phones. So it most definately is confirmed!!!!!

Wow, I can't believe it. Up is down, and down is up. Cupcake, that mythical update that I believed in when I was young (along with Santa and the Easter Bunny), is real and released. This changes everything; I now have to reevaluate my outlook on life.
