Oh, and the two apps I mentioned are not showing under HOME >>>SETTINGS >>> Applications >>> Manage Applications
I've moved from a 2GB SD card to an 8GB. I'm also on Cyanogen's latest version, and the phone is absolutely flying now, the performance is very noticeably faster.
The move to the new SD card went well (pretty much), and I've copied over all my old files successfully.
Well, I thought I had, but the applications were no longer installed. No problem, as I could restore them using MyBackup Pro. Well, actually I couldn't. The shortcut on my home screen to it shows it's not installed, but when I tried to download it from the market - it shows as installed but the open and uninstall buttons that are usually options are ghosted out so I can't do anything with it. I downloaded MyBackup (the free version) and restored all my other apps.
The only two that I need to restore are MyBackup Pro and Twidroid Pro. They are the only two with this issue.
How do I go about removing them from the phone so that it no longer thinks they are installed and I can install them again? Of course I could do a full wipe, but I'd rather not at this stage.
Hope that makes sense.

OK - managed to sort this, by finding the apk files on the web and downloading them and installing from the apk instead of via the market. Once they're installed from the apk the phone recognises they're installed.
I had Handcent Font Pack 3 installed as well, but that's got the same issue and I can't find it anywhere to download and for someone reason it's not backed up. Can anyone make the apk available for me to download? It's free, but I just can't get to it via the market.

Another way you can fix this is to get the apk for mybackup and once it is installed, it will restore you previous apps (assuming you saved the mybackup files on the new SD).
I also had this problem once, but did not have the app files from my backup just the data files (apps corrupted somehow), so I had to do a factory reset. Then I was able to redownload the apps and reset my setting via mybackup.
I'm not 100% sure on this, but if you run "fix_premission" from the console it should clear up the issues you are/were having.

The reason you're having this problem is that they're both paid apps. Paid apps aren't backed up by My Backup Pro, as they're stored on a secure location on the phone to prevent people just copying them and giving them to their mates (i.e. piracy).
I have the same problem!
I uninstalled Bump from the phone and now the options are greyed out. Not a big deal, since I think its uninstalled like i wanted it...but now i can't re-install it later. What causes this?
Are you using apps2sd on a custom firmware like cyanogens too?
