"Market Place" Icon is Missing !!!!!

Hi

"Market Place" icon is missing in my HTC Magic. It was never there. Can any one please let me know How do I get the said icon in the home page? Thanks

did you delete the icon perhaps? Try sliding the grep tab at the bottom(portrait mode) up and long press the market icon and drag it out.

If its not in the menu, where are you from in the world and who is your carrier?

I am from India. As I said the "Android Market" icon was never ever there from the begining. I am stuck without the same...means can not install apps ..

Ah.. Here we go, There are no Google apps or Android market access on the Indian phones by default(hehehe)

But if you flash a new rom or perhaps root after learning about it you can get the market back

I have the same problem with my Galaxy S after the update to Frojo. Android Market icon was suddenly gone and not to be found again. How do I get it back?

Check and see if it's in your app drawer. If it is long press on your homescreen, select applications and choose market.

From the looks of a thread on the Market forum it looks like you may need to do a hard reset...
