yeah that sucks... Oh well... who knows, maybe a 3rd party Facebook app will be even better than an "official" one...

I just use the full blown facebook website. I see everything as i would see on a laptop/desktop. Only thing missing is the bottom bar for apps and chat. I see it sometimes when i scroll fast enough but then it reset to the bottom of the browser just outside of view and access. I haven't seen any javascript/ajax or other rendering problems. played d&d, blood series without a problem. all the basic facebook apps shows up perfectly fine.
Maybe if we all started emailing Facebook requesting an app be made it might help? Probably not, but if enough people demanded it, you never know.

Myspace wrote the Myspace app for Android. Due to their fallout with Google over FriendConnect, it'll probably be a long while before FB would consider it. Also, they have deprecated their Java API. There is a project that tries to mantain the API but it isn't sanctioned by Facebook and features could break at any time.
That's very shaky ground to build a house on. Especially when you are doing it for free.
