It seems weird for me, but I can not find the answer on this simple question:
How one can attach a google maps cache to android map browser in order to use them offline and do not spend money for EDGE/3G downloading tons of maps? It should be simple, because it is done for iPhone, PSP, Mobile Google Maps etc. Thanks, |

Ah, that would indeed be a very useful feature. Offline GPS would be an obvious use case.

Definitely a helpful addition that should be made. The Nokia E90 I used to have would cash map data and it was extremely nice because most of the time I'm traveling around in the same area and don't want to have to download the same maps over and over again.
