I put together a little video of my layout in action.

Awesome to see your layout in action![]()
You know you could have linked that video to the layout when you uploaded it?
For now I manually added the Youtube-Link to the database.
The good thing if you linked it, the useres will be able to watch the video before downloading the layout and testing it themselves. Also it proves that it worked

The current Beta-Phase has ended and AndRemote is now available on the Android Market.
Please report any upcoming issues =)

Thanks for that, I'll remember next time.
I was thinking of going ahead and making a layout for Openoffice Impress. Is that OK, or are you going to do one?
Added the "Picasa Slideshow Remote".

Please forgive my ignorance on this, but can someone please explain the benefit of these remotes? If I have to have my device plugged in to my computer via USB why wouldn't I just use the mouse/keyboard?
I'm sure there is an explanation that will make me into the idiot of the day, but let me know. Thanks.
Thank you for the explanation. Can you give me a real world benefit of this technology? Off the top of my head I'm thinking this would be a cool way to control my computer when I have it plugged in to my LCD TV. I'm sure there are more interesting and productive uses. Thanks again.

Hi,
I quite often watch Movies on my PC, while lying on my couch. I think you also exprienced your monitor fading black (or screensaver) when not touching your mouse for X minutes.
THere is a layout called "Mouse Shaker" which allows me to simply touch the screen to simulate a mouse-movement to bring the monitor back to life.
Best Regars,
Nicolas
