mass txt?!

Searched however did not find an answer but i remember it was a big issue w/ iphone when it first came out where you could not mass txt or send a txt message to multiple recipeints.. was wondering if its capable out of box to do so!

I just fired up the android emulator and on the text message screen I was able to enter multiple contacts. Also confirmed on page 59 of the user guide.

Yes it is possible to mass txt, I did it earlier on my G1.

Iphone version 1 sucks because its lack of it.

I was thinking of something like this for an app idea... sorta an SMS "group chat"

eg. the SMS's are threaded only you can add multiple friends and participate in a sort of "SMS group chat!"

That'd be kinda nifty.

That would be a cool idea, because sometimes I plan things with my friends and we have to text each other what the other said and stuff...but this would mean they need android devices too..

time to start converting....
